Urals Oil (Average Price, MET) represents the average price level of Urals grade oil for the past tax period, used for MET/NDT calculation, applied as an indicator for tax calculations in the energy sector calculated by the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, serving as a price reference for the Russian market. In 2026, prices ranged from 39.18 USD/bbl. to 60.37 USD/bbl. with an average of 52.73 USD/bbl. In accordance with clause 3 of Art. 342 of the Tax Code of the Russian Federation and Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 1118-r dated 19.08.2002, data are posted on the official website economy.gov.ru to determine the Kc MET coefficient; the taxable price is calculated based on quotes from FOB Primorsk, FOB Novorossiysk and ESPO FOB Kozmino.
