Since July 1995, the KASE Index has been calculated on the Kyrgyz Stock Exchange, characterizing the current situation on the securities market. It is the most important indicator of business activity. The KASE Index calculation methodology complies with international standards and is an analogue of S&P. The base value used to calculate the indicator is 100. The index was calculated based on market prices for shares of listed companies. In 2009, an agreement was signed between the KSE and Structured Solution AG (Germany) to promote the KSE index in global financial markets.
