The Company along with its subsidiaries specializes in the production and distribution of instant noodles, beverages and baked goods in the Peoples Republic of China. It operates under four segments: instant noodles, beverages, bakery and others. The Company distributes its products throughout the Peoples Republic of China through its sales network consisting of 548 sales offices and 89 warehouses serving 6,155 wholesalers and 73,282 direct retailers as of 31 December 2010. As of December 31, 2010, the Company held 17.16% interest in Wei Chuan Foods Corporation Limited (Wei Chuan). As of December 31, 2010, the Company held 15.44% interest in Kagome (Hangzhou) Food Co. Ltd. (Kagome Hangzhou).
