Yuanta Financial Holdings is a comprehensive financial services firm with dominance in securities investment services. Yuanta Financial Holdings emerged from a merger in 2007 between Fuhwa Financial Holding Company and Yuanta Core Pacific Securities, which was already Taiwan's largest securities broker for more than a decade. Yuanta remains the unquestionable leader in securities-related businesses in Taiwan, and offers a full range of additional complementary services through its various subsidiaries. In addition to securities brokerage and securities financing, it also provides products and services in banking, insurance, futures, investment trust, investment consulting, venture capital, and asset management. Yuanta's market leadership has long been recognized by both local and foreign investors alike. As of July, 2014, Yuanta's distribution network consists of 167 securities branches and 88 banking branches with over 9,600 professionals providing clients with a full range of financial services. In 2014, the Company controlled approximately 13.5% of the market share in the securities brokerage sector and was able to maintain a big edge in securities margin financing with nearly 21.5% of the market share.
