In addition, it manufactures and distributes solvent and petrochemical products; and invests in ethanol business and alternative energy products. The company operates a refinery with a capacity of approximately 275,000 barrels per day of crude oil and other feed stocks; a 118 megawatts power plant; and a co-generation plant with a capacity of 700 megawatts of electricity. Thai Oil Public Company was founded in 1961 and is headquartered in Bangkok, Thailand.
