Its business segments are UK, Global Investment Management, Canada, International and Other. UK operations comprise life and pensions business. The life and pensions business provides pensions, protection, savings and investment products. Investment management services are provided by global management operations to its other segments. It also provides a range of investment products for individuals and institutional customers through a number of investment vehicles. Canadian operations provide long-term savings, investment and insurance solutions to individuals, and group benefit and retirement plan members. The businesses included in the International segment offers a range of life and pension products and comprise operations in Ireland, Germany, Austria and Hong Kong and investment in joint ventures in India and China. Others segment includes its corporate center and related activities.
