It owns a national transmission network, which consists of approximately 8,800 kilometers of transmission lines, together with more than 5,000 kilometers operated by its 90%-owned subsidiary Empresa de Transporte de Energia Electrica por Distribucion Troncal de la Provincia de Buenos Aires SA (Transba). Additionally, it offers such professional services as lines and substation maintenance, lines and substation operation, supervision and inspection of transmission works, engineering and consulting, among others. It has 99%-owned subsidiary Transener Internacional Ltda. Transener is in 52.65% held by Citelec SA.
