Euronext today congratulates Volare Shipping (ticker code: VLCC), a new shipping company established to own, operate and scale a fleet of modern oil tankers, on its listing on Euronext Growth Oslo Børs. This is the 68th admission on Euronext in 2026. Volare Shipping is a Singapore-incorporated shipping company established and majority-owned by Trafigura, one of the world’s largest commodity trading and shipping groups. The company owns a modern fleet of Very Large Crude Carriers (VLCCs), comprising six vessels currently in operation and eight newbuild vessels on order for delivery progressively through to 2028. The fleet is commercially managed by Trafigura’s global shipping business.The listing follows a private placement in which Volare Shipping raised gross proceeds of approximately USD 500 million, equivalent to NOK 4.73 billion, through the issuance of 30.7 million new shares at a price of NOK 154 per share. The private placement was significantly oversubscribed and attracted a diversified investor base, including institutional investors, family offices and shipping industry participants.A total of 70,319,479 shares were admitted to trading. At market opening, the share price was NOK 169 per share, giving Volare Shipping a market capitalisation of approximately NOK 11.884 billion on its first day of trading.
