The average exchange rates of the Armenian dram against foreign currencies are determined by the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia on a daily basis during business days. The rate for the U.S. Dollar is established based on market data, calculated as the arithmetic mean of the weighted average buying and selling rates derived from transactions recorded on the intrabank and interbank markets, as well as the Stock Exchange. Rates for other currencies are determined via cross-rates based on international market data as of 15:00 local time. Published between 15:45 and 16:00, these rates serve as the official benchmark for accounting and financial reporting purposes but do not constitute an obligation for the regulator to conduct foreign exchange transactions and are not intended for direct commercial operations.
