globeSettle S.A. is the newly established Central Security Depository (CSD) of the London Stock Exchange Group. Registered in Luxembourg, it is a wholly owned subsidiary of London Stock Exchange Registered Holdings Limited. Accordingly, globeSettle benefits from the extensive and diverse expertise of the London Stock Exchange Group in the post trade area. Currently undergoing core development, globeSettle will offer its clients the full range of services typically provided by any CSD, including settlement, custody and a broad range of asset services. It will run on an operating day of 22 hours, providing the best possible market access to the major securities markets around the globe with the aim of efficiently and effectively providing both custody services and Delivery vs Payment in central bank money and commercial bank money. Regarding the European TARGET2-Securities securities settlement programme, globeSettle will access TARGET2-Securities (T2S) in the First Wave as an Indirectly Connected Participant (ICP) through Monte Titoli, a London Stock Exchange Group company and the dominant provider of CSD services in Italy and elsewhere.
