Optima Bank OJSC

"Optima Bank" OJSC was founded on May 7, 1992. Initially it was called the Kyrgyz Commercial Bank of Business Support "Kyrgyzmelbusinessbank". In 1993, the bank was renamed to Kyrgyz Commercial Bank of Development and Reconstruction of Energy "Kyrgyzenergobank" Joint-Stock Bank. In June 2001, "Kyrgyzenergobank" Joint-Stock Bank was renamed to "Energobank" OJSC. On December 14, 2006 by the decision of the Extraordinary Meeting of Shareholders, “Energobank" OJSC was renamed to "ATF Bank - Kyrgyzstan" OJSC. In 2010, following the acquisition of a parent company in Kazakhstan - "ATF Bank" JSC - by a large European financial institution UniCredit Group, the Bank in the Kyrgyz Republic was renamed to "UniCredit Bank" OJSC. Over the years the Bank has implemented the European standards of doing business, customer service quality on global standards level, continuous monitoring practice of customer satisfaction. All European standards and the latest practices and technologies have remained during the changeover of shareholders in 2013. On May 2, 2013 the Financial Holding “KNG Finance” and UniCredit Bank Austria announced the completion of the purchase and sales contract of shares - 99.75% in Kazakh "ATF Bank" JSC (the parent company of "UniCredit Bank" OJSC in Kyrgyzstan). In September 2013, the Bank continued its work under a new progressive brand Optima Bank.
