The enterprise "Azot" is the unique chemical enterprise of Transcaucasia, produsing mineral fertilizers. Ammonia, cyanic sodium, nitric acid, ammoniac water and other production also is issued. The enterprise is the basic supplier of nitric fertilizers in republics of Transcaucasia and a home market of Georgia. Consumers of production of the enterprise Nitrogen are also the countries of the Black Sea and Mediterranean pools (Greece, Israel, Italy, France, Spain, Turkey, Syria, Morocco, etc.) For past years patents of Georgia for inventions which introduction allows to improve technical and economic parameters of manufacture are given to manufacture and to raise quality of production according to requirements of consumers. The introduced newest development allow to make production corresponding to the world standards. Today at the enterprise Nitrogen works more than 2 thousand people. Capacities at full loading can give in one year about 450 thousand tons of mineral fertilizers, 400 thousand tons of ammonia, 10 thousand tons of cyanic sodium.
