LBT is owned by Vector Holdings of Luxembourg since 2009, and it is an investment of Actera Partners L.P. private equity fund. Recently, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has become LBTs shareholder. EBRD has provided a TRL 100 million equity and debt finance package to LBT. LBT is one of eight asset management companies authorized by the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency to acquire distressed and non-performing loans of banks and other financial institutions in Turkey. Today LBT is one of the most active buyers of NPLs in Turkey. LBT owns a high quality and diversified NPL portfolio with total current unpaid balances of almost TL 4 billion (USD 2.3 billion). Our portfolio consists of secured and unsecured corporate, SME, consumer loans and credit cards acquired from Turkish banks.
