SEB investiciju valdymas has been the first asset management company established in Lithuania in the year 2000. The Company provides investment management services to private individuals and corporate customers, financial institutions (insurance companies) and is engaged in administering of the 2nd and 3rd pillar pension funds. One of the largest investment companies with the greatest experience in Lithuania continuously increases customer assets managed by it. In 2004, assets under management by SEB investiciju valdymas grew by 115 per cent even, or from LTL 93.7 million to LTL 201.4 million. Since the year 2003, SEB investiciju valdymas has been issued a licence to establish the 2nd pillar pension funds that currently manage assets of more than 156 thousand of Lithuanian citizens. At the close of the year 2004, SEB investiciju valdymas was the first in the market to offer voluntary accumulation of funds for retirement additionally with two voluntary pension funds. In the beginning of 2005, SEB investiciju valdymas became the leader of the voluntary pension funds accumulation in the market with its share of nearly 90 per cent of said market. SEB investiciju valdymas employs professional staff, i.e., seven employees were issued the broker’s licences by the Securities Commission of the Republic of Lithuania, four of them are participating at the Chartered Financial Analyst Programme and one is the Financial Risk Manager certified by the Global Association of Risk Professionals.
