Tanai Sanatorium LLC was established in 2009 in the Kemerovo Region. In 2007, the first facilities of the complex were commissioned: five slopes, a ropeway and a rope tow lift, an artificial snowmaking system and a service centre. At present the complex includes seven ski slopes of European level and varying degrees of difficulty, big-air and halfpipe snowboard slopes, as well as seven lifts. There is a snow tubing track for those who like to ride inflatables. The possibility of riding at night is ensured thanks to the sports technological lighting, for which external power supply systems have been developed. There is a mountain spring with a font and a chapel of the Holy Archistratigus of God Michael and other Heavenly Forces incorporeal was built on the mountain. For the first time visitors of ‘Tanay’ could bathe in the purest water of the natural spring in 2009. Having started as a ski resort, Tanai is constantly developing and beginning to play a significant role in the life of the region. Since 2009, a health resort has been operating on its territory, offering a wide range of health and rehabilitation services to Tanai guests. Since 2010, the Tanai sanatorium has been awarded the status of a balneo-resort. In July 2020, a 1,433 m2 universal sports complex was built for team sports such as volleyball, basketball, mini-football and tennis.
