JSC Zelenodolsk Plant named after A.M. Gorky is one of the largest and strategically important shipbuilding enterprises in Russia. Since its foundation, the plant has built more than 1,500 sea and river ships and vessels of various classes and purposes. The location in the center of Russia, on the Volga, allows JSC Zelenodolsk Plant named after A.M. Gorky to supply ships and vessels to any regions of the basins of the Black, Caspian, Baltic, and North Seas by inland waterways. The production and technical base of the enterprise consists of a complex of workshops covering all types of shipbuilding production and allowing to build ships of various types and small and medium class vessels.
JSC Zelenodolsk Plant named after A.M. Gorky has a machine-building production with foundry, forging, thermal, electroplating, welding and machining workshops. This allows the company to independently produce a wide range of marine engineering products, a wide range of equipment for the oil and gas industry. The titanium casting workshop of the plant is one of the largest in the world for the production of shaped titanium castings of complex configuration from any titanium alloys that meet Russian and foreign standards.
Since 1997, the plant has mastered the production of large-sized metal structures for bridge crossings - metal structures of superstructures for the Millennium Bridge in Kazan, bridge crossings over the Kama and Vyatka rivers, a railway overpass for the Aeroexpress terminal at Kazan International Airport, etc. have been manufactured.
